MSC Rhapsody?

My hubby and I are going on a short weekend cruise to Portuguese Island, Mozambique for my birthday in March. We are from South Africa. Anyone been on the MSC Rhapsody? What's the ship like? Any info on dining onboard? What is there to do on Portuguese Island? This is our first cruise. There doesn't seem to be much info online. Any advice appreciated.

There are very differing reports on the Rhapsody cruise experience and most tend to go around whether or not you have a smooth sailing. The Rhapsody is a small ship (16,852 tons) and the focus is on fun and entertainment. For those who have calm waters, the experience is wonderful, but not so great if the seas are rough (and the South African coast can get very rough - suggest you take motion sickness pills just in case).

We have friends who have just returned from their Rhapsody cruise and thoroughly enjoyed it - they said it was a non-stop party! Enjoy! :)
