Other than KSC and DW, what have you done in Port Canaveral for your port stop?

I have two upcoming cruises in Port Canaveral and am indecisive as to what to do while there. I've been a few times many years ago but both times I just shopped and Cocoa Beach. Also, on those times I've been there was a free shuttle from the port to Cocoa Beach....I'm thinking that's no longer available.
