snorkeling - San Juan - Casa de Campo

Does anyone know of any snorkeling that can be done from the beach in San Juan or Casa de Campo? I gave up scuba diving years ago because the dive boats make me sea sick.

Any suggestions for even bad snorkeling from the beach would be appreciated. (Otherwise I might have to go shopping with my wife :))

I stayed at Casa De Campo a LONG time ago and we took an excursion to Catalina Island (deserted at the time), where a boat dropped us off and picked us up a few hours later. I thought the snorkeling was fabulous there!

I was in Casa De Campo last year and the ship offered a trip to Catalina Island, it's now a day resort. Snorkeling is possible there but I don't recall if you can get equipment there or if people brought their own.
