Parking at port vs. parking at some satellite location

First time cruising out of Vancouver.

 

We live in Washington State, so will likely drive to Vancouver for our cruise.  What have your experiences been:  is it better to park at the cruise port for the week?   Or maybe there is a hotel that lets you park there for the week with maybe a shuttle to the cruise port at Canada Place?  What has your experience been doing either way.

 

If you know of any hotels that do this can you provide them too?

We parked at the Value Long Term lot at the airport for 2 weeks in May. About $135US for the 2 weeks. The Templeton station is there and we caught the train to/from downtown Vancouver. It was a short walk to Canada Place. You will find other suggestions by searching this board including hotels with Park n Fly options.

I was going to suggest exactly what Glaciers has suggested!  If you have AA you can get a discount at the Park and Fly.
