Twitchly Posted July 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2022 If you’ve been on enough Viking cruises, you’ve probably spent some time in Bergen. We’ll be spending a couple of nights there after our upcoming cruise. Where should we eat? Last time we were there, I think we just went to a little grocery store for dinner and grabbed something boring. Surely we can do better than that?

Recommend the Bryggeloftet on the second floor. frontpage — Bryggeloftet & Stuene The reindeer was outstanding! Reservations are a must. If you're looking for lunch, try the fish market. Enjoy! 🍺🥌 2

Enjoy! 🍺🥌 I second Bryggeloftet & Stuene. But save room for their Cloudberry Pavlova - the best dessert I had in Norway. Our other favorite is Bjerck on the harbor near the TI, 2nd floor in US terms, 3rd floor in European terms. Their fish soup at lunch was spectacular, but their brunch trays look good, too. Just visited both places in February 2022. 1
Milehighgrandma Posted July 9, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 9, 2022 We ate at Olivia, right at the waterfront. Make a reservation so you don't have to wait in line. We stayed at the Radisson Blue for the one night before our cruise. It's an easy walk from there.
Rare LindaS272 Posted July 11, 2022 #6 Share Posted July 11, 2022 We ate at Marg & Bein and thought it was excellent. We stayed at Hotel Park Bergen and the restaurant was jut down the hill on Fosswinckels https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g190502-d7721132-Reviews-Marg_Bein-Bergen_Hordaland_Western_Norway.html
