Anyone with experience tell me about Trieste?

To find others, go to the Italy forum (but not your own thread) Log in, and under your user name you will see an emty search box.  Input the word Trieste, tick "on this forum" from the dropdown immediately under the search box, then hit the little magnifying glass.  All previous threads containing that word will appear ready for you to read. 

 

And try the local Tourist Info website, Tripadvisor and any other helpful sites you can find when you search for something like" Tieste tourist info" or" what to do in Trieste".
