Seaplane Flights to Caye Caulker

Hi,

My friend and I are sailing on the Miracle next month and plan to take a seaplane from the municipal airstrip in Belize City to Caye Caulker.

Has anyone else done this and if you have, did you book your flights before the cruise, or did you just go to the airstrip and book on-sight?

Thanks!

A friend of mine looked into this for our upcoming cruise. He said it was around $60/US for round-trip air. He thought they left about every hour. If anyone has done this, please let us know. We're probably NOT going to do this, but my friend still might. He scuba dives and wants to go out farther and spend more time in the water.
