Christmas attire and meal

Good evening,

 

We will be on Marella in the Caribbean at Christmas, how many people wear Tuxedos? I'm more than happy to wear one but don't want to be in the minority.

Has anyone any experience of Christmas day and New year meals on Marella?

 Would like to know this too.   Not taking tux because of the weight but my partner will wear smart trousers and a proper shirt. On P&O we dressed to the nines and so did everyone else but that sailed from Southampton.

I have been ordered to take my Tux hahaha - I would have objected but as it's Christmas maybe more people will wear them?

A tux and a couple of evening dresses weigh quite a lot.  Maybe I'll pack then see how much weight allowance we've got left.

I always do a practice pack.

We are on this cruise too and hubby is taking his dress up clothes. We quite enjoy that part of cruising but when we went with Marella a few years ago at Christmas it was a bit hit and miss. I am sure the people we are travelling with will dress up too. I would take what you feel comfortable in and also what weight you have left.

You can always buy some extra luggage weight. I do anyway

Absolutely. I always prefer to turn left when boarding a long haul flight.
