Sky Princess - Mini Suite

One thing to be aware of - there can be a large overhang from the deck above on some decks 15 and 16 mini-suites (and other cabins), so do some research if this would bother you.  We had a mid-forward deck 14 and it was great.  We have a deck 15 forward just aft of the bridge wings booked for next year which I believe doesn't have a big overhang from deck 16 if that helps.

@Lady Arwen or anyone else who's familiar with Sky P's Lido deck:

We'll be on the Sky for the first time in a couple of months.  We just had our mini-suite guarantee assignment to L206.

We were just on the Caribbean P, and on the Lido deck, they had Coffee and Cones, where specialty coffees were available, if we didn't want to run down to IC.

Does the Sky have something similar on Lido (or anywhere else for that matter).  DH ran down to IC bright and early each morning so we could enjoy a cappuccino out on the balcony before heading out for breakfast.

From those forward cabins on Lido, it seems like it would be much faster for us if there was an additional specialty coffee place closer.

Thanks for any info.

Sky is a Royal class ship, so different from CB (Caribbean Princess) in layout and venues.  IIRC, there is no specialty coffee available on Lido.  We always go to IC for our coffees.  We don’t do buffets, so not sure if there is something available there, but I doubt it.

Just off the Sky a few weeks back.

DH got his espresso every morning at the coffee bar in the buffet. It's kind of in one of the middle aisles. Just wander....you'll find it! It will be very convenient for you since you will be on the Lido deck.

Thank you!  Since we’re not buffet people, we had no idea you could get specialty coffees on Lido.  I’m sure the OP will be delighted with your reply!

Yes, this is very good news and we are both very delighted to hear it!

On busy cruises, we also avoid the buffet area (most especially during meal times), but this sounds like it would suit us perfectly, and would be worth "fighting the hordes" in the morning! 😂

Thanks @dreaminofcruisin for passing this along.  And thanks all for the replies.
