bspill Posted September 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2022 We're sailing on a transatlantic crossing which now requires a negative covid test. Has anyone used the emed home test? Just wondering if it worked out ok.
twodjs Posted September 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2022 We've used them several times - easy to use and no last minute panic. Just be sure that a proctored test is acceptable.
jsea Posted September 2, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2022 I’ll second that. Emed was easy when we used it for our Venture cruise last month. I have family that used it for a Celebrity cruise with similar ease.
travel4b Posted September 2, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 2, 2022 We’ve used eMed several times. They are fine. Just a couple things. eMed has two versions - one is supervised and the other is totally self-administered. With the recent changes by Seabourn, I’m not sure which version is acceptable for you particular itinerary. You need a good internet speed for the proctored version; our hotel wifi was too slow so we had to switch to the local cellular LTE network. safarigal Posted September 5, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2022 We used eMed to do our tests before boarding Sojourn yesterday. We printed out the results from the email they sent, and it was accepted by the check in people at the ship.
bspill Posted September 6, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted September 6, 2022 Thanks. I wanted to make sure Seabourn accepted it.
