doc47 Posted September 5, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2022 We are on the Explorer Dubai to Singapore embarking in November. I got word from my TA that our visas are NOT included in the overall cruise price. That will add $756 for Qatar and India for the two of us. Is this a new policy? I don't believe I have ever paid extra for visas on past Regent cruises.
Lonedaddy Posted September 5, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2022 (edited) The don’t include them we are paying 59 each pp for nz and for Australia and then onboard they process the New Guinea one and charge account. On our cruise to China it 399 pp . You can probably save some by doing it yourself but personally I don’t want the hassle and will let regent do it. I’m surprised your TA didn’t tell you that. I think India is 25 pp if you use Evisa not sure about Dubai. How many people in your group? Edited September 5, 2022 by Lonedaddy
irishwitchy Posted September 5, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2022 Just to clarify - we are the New Zealand/Australia ends in Bali cruise with you. I already got my New Zealand and Australia “visa” like thing. Regent isn’t going to do that for me - is it?

cwn Posted September 6, 2022 #9 Share Posted September 6, 2022 Yes in the past visas were included on WC along medical and some other things. They use a service that we go through for the big deal ones.

Rare mj_holiday Posted September 6, 2022 #11 Share Posted September 6, 2022 On a Regent cruise to the Baltic in 2014 we paid separate for our visas. Regent got them for us, but it was an item on our paperwork. I really think it will depend on what the visa requirements are for a location. Some ports it is probably easier for Regent to provide them and others not. Also, some countries charge differently depending on your citizenship.
