Disney Dream Embarkation Times Miami

Hi all, 

 

Just completed online check in for a Disney Dream cruise out of Miami later this month. I'm Castaway Gold but the earliest embarkation time available was 2:30 pm. It's my 9th cruise and each time I've just shown up around 11 am to the pier and gone through the registration process, and then had lunch around 12 or 1 on the ship. 

 

Is DCL enforcing the embarkation time slots? Or do you think I can still just show up around 11 am without being told to come back?
