Video Poker Pay Tables for the Cruise Lines

I have been trying to research VP JoB pay tables on the various cruise lines. Based on what I have seen on Carnival Vista and what I have found on CC, here is the info I have obtained right now:

(Correct as at 15 Sep 2022)

Carnival : 6/5 (5% House edge)

Celebrity: (Single-line) Modified 7-5 (8.6% HE) ; Multi-line 6-5 (5% HE)

RCL: 6/5 (5% HE) 0.25 denom ; 8/5 (1.4% HE) $10/25 denom

Anyone has different info for the above? Any info for NCL (heard it was 99% for $25 denom), Princess, MSC and Holland America?

Thanks in advance!

None of those games are playable.

I was on the Carnival Breeze Dec. 5-10. If I remember correctly, most of the JoB machines in the Casino Annex were 6/5, but I think there was one machine that had 8/5 on a multi deck Bonus Poker or Bonus Poker Deluxe. Unfortunately, the 8/5 machine also had Keno, so it was usually occupied. The 6/5 machines were 25 cents minimum, and the 8/5 machine was either 10 cents or 25 cents minimum. Edited to add that the JoB machines also had other games.

New to VP, love the question, but isn't 8/5 a roughly 2.8% HE?

I was on the NCL Breakaway about a month ago. The JOB machines were 8-5 at the quarter and dollar level (97.30%) and 8-6 at the $5 level (98.39%) which is about as good a vp machine as you will find on a cruise ship.

I played a quarter Double Bonus machine and the quarter paytable was 9-6-4, or a 96.38% return with perfect play; I suspect dollars are the same. I don't know the $5 paytable.

Double Double Bonus, 25 cents, 9-5, 97.87% return; $1 and $5 unknown. I think this makes the Double Double Bonus the best play in the casino for quarters. If the $5 version improves the payout to 9-6 (98.98%) it is likely the best game on the seas. But oh, the volatility!

The above figures are for "perfect" play. Most players will lose an additional 5-7%. Reasonably good players will lose an additional 2-4%. Really good players will still likely lose an extra half percent or so.

The reason I have all of these numbers is because about a year ago I started taking a photo of every quad hand, as well as straight flushes and royals. It's clearly a habit I need to continue.

If a cruise line has better paytables than these, I'd love to know it. There were a lot of things I didn't like about NCL, but when the other lines are holding out an extra two or three percent on coin-in I'll go with NCL.
