Taxi Rate

Hi,

 

I will be on a family cruise on November with stop in St. Thomas. Family = On a Budget, so am figuiring out ($$) if is better taking a tour or be on our own. Wife and I we been in ST  before and only interesting in Magens, but want to take the rest of the family (1stimer) to Downtown after Magens.

 

To those that recently cruise to St. Thomas, please share the current Taxi rates from/to Crown Bay.

I think this is a recurrent question that need to be address for a quick reference. This what I found searching, rates are from this year, a few months ago (summer).

Rates are current as of today, but may increase soon, but they've been saying that for a few months.

Thanks for the info. We are thinking of taking a taxi to Magens Bay in January but I'm not sure how long we will stay. Do you need to arrange and pay for your return trip when you are being dropped off or will there be taxi's readily available throughout the day to take you back to the ship/port?

There will be plenty of taxis waiting to take you back to the ship.

Would you know if that price is each way or round-trip?

The taxi fares are always quoted one way per person unless otherwise stated.
