Hogladyrider Posted March 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2006 Is a tie required in the supper club on Glory? Hoping to get by with a sport coat and no tie, after all we are on vacation.:D
MrPete Posted March 4, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2006 Has nothing to do with the fact that you're on vacation. It's what they require. Jacket and tie are only required on formal night. I wore dockers and a shirt, after asking what the dress code was.
LizaMM Posted March 4, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2006 In the Capers on the Glory it states: Emerald Supper Club Welcome to a world of award winning chefs, extraordinary cuisine & fine service at a nominal charge. Open daily from 6:00pm - 9:30pm Reservations needed, phone 1078 between 10:00am & 10:00pm. Please allow at least 2 hrs. to enjoy a complete dining experience. Book early to avoid disappointment. Seating is limited! Dress Code: Smart Elegant Please. It doesn't get any better than this! Treat yourself! They do not state that a tie is required. My BF wore a jacket and tie and I wore a dressy dress. On the night we were there it seemed to be a few people dressed similar to us and also a few who were much less casual. cruisehappy45 Posted March 4, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2006 I was browsing through the Carnival book, the one you get at the travel agency that shows all their ships and decks so forth. It showed the people eating at the Supper Club, the men had on khaki's and a button down shirt, no tie.
