On Board Credit

I would like to know if you are surprising someone with an onboard credit on Celebrity do they send you the actual documentation to present to the person you are surprising OR is it just something they send to that person when they get onboard?:rolleyes:

I got what looked like a type written credit memo with a little personalized message.

Like Ocngypz, we've gotten little gift cards in an envelope on the desk in our cabin when we arrive, with a note that so-and-so had sent us a credit. In our experience with onboard credit, flowers, wine, etc. sometimes the card is difficult to decipher and we've had a hard time figuring out who sent it. If you go to Guest Relations they usually have more information.
