Just received an e-mail from the POG offering a $20 parking discount with the discount code GRANDOPENING22. Helps a bit when departing from the new terminal.

Which one is the new terminal?  We're cruising on Princess Ruby & I have heard will be going out of T2?  Does this promo work for that one?

I just about fell out of my seat when I saw the prices even with the discount. Holy moly. I guess I am just too used to the Galveston parking prices over the last 20 years. Started out in the low $40s, then the low $50s in about 2010, and then in the $60s a few years ago. I think I paid $64 for my two 7-day trips earlier this year (but looks to be somewhat more for my upcoming cruise). Looks like there is just not any competition yet at that end of the strand (and I am curious what Royal is charging for drop-offs from the independant parking places). One of the major benefits of going out of Galveston has always been the relatively cheap parking relative to other ports.

You might to try it again.  I also got that error twice and tried a different browser later and it worked.

 Interesting but then again that’ll incur a $10 cancellation fee 😂

You might try and call them and request that they adjust your reservation to reflect the promo, that way no cancellation fee.

Looking to make a reservation at Port of Galveston. We are on the Carnival Breeze. Is it a problem to arrive at the parking lot at 9:30 A.M.?
