Aosborn Posted November 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2022 I'm traveling with my family of 10. Five adults and five kids ranging from 5 to 13. What are my options getting to the Mango deck? How far and difficult is the walk? If walking is it on the sand or pavement?
SDPadreFan Posted November 8, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2022 The walk is doable but the 5 year old will not be a happy camper. Cab or water taxi would be the easier option. For the water taxi you would have to egress the boat in a couple feet of water so definitely assist your 5 year old. A suggestion. Hire a water taxi from the tender pier or marina area to take you out to Cabo's famous arch and then get dropped off at the Mango Deck. A Glass Bottomed could also do the same thing. ALWAYS negotiate a fair price but don't get hung up on a couple dollars. They need to eat too. The walk option would be on pavement AND dirt roads with some hills. Guessing the walk would take 20-30 min depending on pace.
Mike45LC Posted November 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 9, 2022 I agree with Padre Fan, but then, when you are done at the beach, grab a taxi (3 or 4 taxis!) back to the tender pier.

I’m planning on grabbing a water taxi for myself and 2 teenagers to see the arch and then drop off at the beach. Plenty of food and shopping right there before a cab back to the tender pier? The “standard” glass bottom boat tour cruises by Lover’s Beach (no facilities), the Arch, Sea Lion Rock, and allows a jump off at Medano Beach. lots of cafes, bars, water activities at Medano.
