FCC transferable??

Hi, have a friend who just cancelled a cruise and was issued  Future Cruise Certificates,  are the transferable??i.e could I buy them from her (she does not plan to cruise in future) and put them on an existing booking of mine??

I know a family member can transfer a FCC, not sure of friends.  Have your friend call Royal and ask.  If so, make sure they put a note in the file with your name.  It also is not a bad idea to have them handy when you go to use it to confirm again it is ok, just in case the notes are not clear.
