Thanks, We are on the July 5th cruise.

@deltahog We get several pool towels, hand wash undergarments and socks, squeeze and roll them in the towels to get additional water out, then hang them dry. You can also washout many other items, roll in towels and hang dry them.

They made me remove mine. -
Grandeur updates since dry dock?
Cherful59 replied to 2funtime's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Hopefully some of you going out on her soon can post some comments. I was on her August 2022 and although she showed some wear, thought she was lovely and had a great time. I was looking to book her again. -
Transatlantic or TransPacific-Spring or Fall
Cherful59 replied to DbPA's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I was on Radiance from Hawaii to Vancouver in early May several years ago. The Islands were smooth, the 5 days from Hawaii to Vancouver we had one rockier day only. I took used bonine, a couple of green apples and mint tea, ate light meals and was fine by the next day when things were steadier. I have a weak stomach, it did not stop me and I would do it again in a heartbeat and have been looking at TA’s. -
Does your cruise have a roll call? Maybe others on it have already cruised out of Boston and can give you some additional choices.

Max # of people you can sit with in MDR?
Cherful59 replied to petuniaflower's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We were told 10 max for our Freedom cruise in June. -
Oops, hopefully she brought along otc motion sickness meds which work really well, or has a cast iron stomach. I was on Explorer in one of the panoramic view cabin under the bridge on deck 11 several years ago and it was rocking and rolling for several days on the ship, they had bags out on all of the staircases. We slept great in that room and as long as we were laying down, we were fine, but every morning we would take turns getting up and showering, laying down to get rid of the motion sickness, get dressed and lay down. Once we were ready, got up and would run out of the room. 😅 Once we left the room, we were fine on the rest of the ship, but several people used those bags and/or went running from the dining room.😕 I was going to suggest you go back and check with someone else about the Macchiato's and Cappuccino's. Some are new and give the wrong info. They should just check. If you are staying on Liberty you might be ok with using the 2 card for your second cruise, or maybe they will give you the 2nd card after you start your second cruise, but I read somewhere that they were not going to let you carry the card from one cruise to the next, maybe 4 or 6 months ago. I don't know if they started doing that or not. On my 1st cruise just after Covid I pushed the issue with one of the crew (and won) because I made him check with someone else. You were supposed to be able to carry the cards from cruise to cruise at the time and I had bought one on my last cruise before the covid shut down and had a couple of punches left. Love the pretty blue skies. Glad the weather has turned around for the better for you. Thanks for posting.

BOA RCI Credit Card Reward Points
Cherful59 replied to QTBabyNurse's topic in Royal Caribbean International
@QTBabyNurse It just goes toward your on board account as funds for you to spend so I don’t see why not. I just tend to spend mine on gratuities, or other purchases on board. -
I book with air to sea and direct with airlines whichever is cheapest when I go in a day or 2 ahead of time. If I am going in day of, I usually use air to sea. Booking seats depends on your airline from what I experienced using Air to sea when holding off on payment. Some will do it before payment date and some will not. I do not pay for my flight until a week or to before final payment date, and it was easy to reprice my flights to and from Amsterdam with air to sea twice lowering it each time after checking costs on my own, as well as getting an alert from the Hopper app that flights prices had dropped. Assistance with flights is always a plus when there are issues.

Prices for Chops and coffee card?
Cherful59 replied to Mparker12's topic in Royal Caribbean International
They will punch for each shot of expresso used in your drink (Grande coffee is 2 punches). I personally prefer cafe latitude's coffee on the ships I have been on the past few years to the Crown Lounge coffee machine (although I do drink it upon occasion), Windjammer, MDR and Solarium. Also make sure you use your card up. I am pretty sure I read they will not let you use it on another cruise, which I used to be able to do some times. If there are 2 of you drinking it should not be an issue for you. You can check on this. Or someone will also comment. I agree to buy it on the ship to make sure they will allow you to use it for the drinks you want.
