We're going 9/17/06, but from what I've seen here, you can board as early as about 12 or so, but most likely won't be able to get into your room until about 2. Past cruisers have posted that the Windjammer will be open for lunch and that you will be able to make spa and Portofino's reservations as soon as you board.

10 p.m. is the time that the ship sails. We are sailing on the Serenade, which also has a 10 p.m. departure. We plan on boarding about 11 a.m. dropping off our stuff, eating lunch, touring the ship, and then going on over to Old San Juan.

The departure time is late due to San Juan being so far away from most airports, and having flights come in, and also, it isn't too far to St. Thomas, which is the ship's first stop. (I think)

Have fun planning your cruise!
