We are taking an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle next July.   We have NCL Air booked to take us in the day before to allow us to explore Seattle a little bit. Recognizing that there is no control over flights/times we were wondering if two days in advance might be better in the event our day befor flights get us in too late in the day to enjoy the city.

Any previous flight times people have received and wouldn’t mind sharing would help us decide.

Thanks

We went in 2 days early in May and stayed at the Holiday Inn downtown. We got there early afternoon. It's a great location for exploring, just a few blocks from the Needle. It was cold and rainy the first day, but we still took the Monorail from the Space Needle to city center and walked down to the market to explore. Found a nice place with great clam chowder. Went back to the hotel and rested.
The weather the next day was much better so we walked over to the Space Needle and did the combo ticket with Chihuly Gardens. Then we went back to the hotel and got a recommendation for dinner. Walked a few blocks to a nice mexican restaraunt with great food.
We then decided to do laundry and washed everything we had worn those 2 days so they would be fresh for the ship. It was a big reason I booked Holiday Inn. This was a good plan that helped us pack a little less and travel a little lighter.
The hotel works with shuttle companies to take you to the pier in the morning. Just ask when checking in. Make sure you book one that has this if you don't want to pay Uber prices.
If you choose to stay with one day ahead, depending on your flight, it may just be better to get a hotel near the airport and shuttle from there in the morning.
