Getaway music and entertainment

Hi,

 

we are looking forward to an 8 night cruise on the getaway soon.

 

Has anyone recently sailed?  We are wondering what kind of entertainment we can expect besides the production shows, comedy and howl at the moon?  Are there any speciality acts like a magician or ventriloquist?

 

what kind of bands are currently onboard and how are they?

All I can say is Syd Normans Pour House is a must, even if you need to get in line 45 minutes before they open, we did twice.

Just off the Getaway today. There was a comedian Landry who was excellent but I believe he said he was leaving the ship today and going on tour.  The cast of Million Dollar Quartet did a Broadway Unplugged show that was really good that was held in The Illusionarium and required reservations.  We did see a Magician one night but wasn't too impressed.  There was some kind of "Escape"  Activity during the day, also in The Illusionarium but we didn't check it out.
