Carnival Panorama debarkation time in Long Beach

Can any recent travelers confirm the actual arrival time for Carnival Panorama back in port at Long Beach from the Mexican Rivera, and the earliest time available to get off the ship?

We are trying to determine airline schedules.  The itinerary shows 9am, but wanted to know if this is accurate.

That is the scheduled time, but for a number of reasons, debarkation may be delayed.

 

I wouldn't cut it too close for your plane flight.

Probably will arrive before well before 9am, but don't expect to disembark early that morning. Debarkation is based on how long it takes customs to clear the ship. Plan on being off the ship at 9am and you won't go wrong. Plan on a half hour to LGB and no less than an hour to LAX. We use a12:00pm flight time from Long Beach and no earlier than 1:00pm from LAX.e

Got off today. We barely were pulling sidelong to the pier at 8:45. Suites were offered self debarkation for 9am. But we probably didn’t actually get off until 9:30/45

This question comes up regularly - *at least* once a month.  You will receive lots of helpful information if you do a search :).  Some posters are adamant about building their future flight plans on the absolute most recent experience, but that’s a poor approach.  For example, there were some extremely rough conditions this past week in the Pacific waters around California/Baja California that impacted a number of ships.  Best advice would be to base finite travel plans on the totality.
