Future Cruise Credit use

Sorry to keep needing to ask about things I should already know but.....

 

Is using FCC like using a credit card to pay?  Does a TA still get their credit for the booking the cruise?  TIA for any information you can share.

It's more like paying with cash or a check, but, yes, the TA still gets their commission if you use a FCC.

For a while when cruises were being cancelled they were giving both the TA from the cancelled cruise and the new TA their commissions.  Then I think they dropped giving a TA a commission if the FCC was from a cancelled cruise that replaced a cancelled cruise.  It was pretty confusing!
