Uber pricing hike - HOU and Galveston.

I know Uber can hike their prices during “premium times” but this is a bit much!  If I price the same route right now it is approximately $45.  When I use Ubers “reserve your ride” for January 20th at 9:15pm it is $175.

 

Obviously reserving ahead instead of using the app at the airport is a costly idea.  However, I’m wondering if people are reporting big price hikes the Friday night between HOU to Galveston hotel?  At the later cost, I might as well book a shuttle service. I’d hate to say we will just use the app once we land and have to pay that much more.
