If you cancel...how long for taxes and port fee refund?

Hi all,

 

We had to cancel a cruise in mid-December of last year, and I don't recall seeing the taxes and port fees show back up on our credit card. We had travel insurance and they have reimbursed us on that portion of it, but that isn't supposed to include the taxes, correct? It's our first time having travel insurance and actually using it. How long should we wait to see this credit show up? It's right at 300 dollars.

That is waaay too long.  I canceled a cruise in late Jan., and had my refund, of taxes and port fees in about a week to 10 days..  I'd check with Carnival.
