Explorer/ Splendor balconies

Sorry to ask and I know this probably has been answered before.

Where the ship extends out on the sides are those balconies larger?

I am changing cabins and have a choice between 2.

1 mid ship  and 1 a bit forward (with what look like the larger verandah)

Are they much larger?

It varies from deck to deck, but generally, the extended balconies are in line with [above] the tenders/lifeboats.

As you go higher, the balconies all go back to the default depth.

The deck diagrams are accurate and show the differences.

And the differences are significant...

I agree that if you are on a warm weather cruise, or one where you might spend more time in your stateroom as on an ocean crossing, the extended veranda can be an important element in your enjoyment of the cruise.

Or...If you're involuntarily quarantined in your stateroom for a week or two, you'll have a much more spacious balcony to while away the hours on!!  😜
