Malta embarkation

Hi 

Just a quick question.

 

We are doing the fly cruise to Malta in September.

 

But we are flying out a few days before to spend some time in Malta.

 

Because of this just wondering if we will be able to board the ship earlier when we check out of our hotel.

 

Has anyone done this?

We were staying at Excelsior Grand in Valletta last June 3 days before cruise and we ordered a taxi to the Cruise terminal at 10:45am. The taxi drops you right outside the door where you drop bags and check in. Very quick and easy we were on board by 11:30 via nice duty free area.
