What to do in Nassau

Hi there, Booked for the 5/29/06 sailing of RCCL Majesty of the Seas. Not too impressed with the ships excursions in Nassau....only 2 listed for the day we are in port. (which is really disappointing...not that I am complaining or anything) What options are out there for going it on your own? There will be a total of 7 of us and we were hoping for stingrays or something or something exciting and fun for the kids since it is their first cruise. Anything other than Atlantis or Breezes there? Now that Blue Lagoon is gone, seems like it's very limited. Any help would appreciated and welcomed.

Thank you so very much in advance!!:)

What's your timeline? That could be the reason for such a limited selection.

We are there from 1:00pm until midnight. It's quite a long time, that's why I don't understand why there aren't more excursions avail.

Most tours leave the dock by 1pm and return around 4:30pm.

Only those tours that are specific to your ship will wait until 2pm.

Hence, the limited offerings.

Of course, you can always take a cab or ferry to check out Atlantis casino and Marina Village, or head to a public beach or one of the hotel beaches. There's a zoo, botanical gardens, Historic walking tours, carriage rides, lots of shopping, etc. All without a specific tour. There's also a Senor Frogs and Hard Rock Cafe nearby.

There's a sunset cruise and dinner cruise available also.
