Separate your items in a with a note that reads " please wash only, do not put in drier and return on hangers. Thank you". I noted "not to dry" on a Princess cruise with brand new sweatshirts purchased on the ship and they came back a size smaller. I'd prefer they not wash my good jeans and t-shirts because it seems they wash everything on hot and I wash my items that I don't want to shrink on cold. It's no problem doing some sink laundry. I had some new delicates and white t-shirts come back tie-dyed...so I'm selective with what I send, but thanks for the suggestion.
Rare BlueSkiesTX Posted February 28, 2023 #27 Share Posted February 28, 2023 I have used the Pack-It Garment Folder from Eagle Creek for the last few cruises. I have had cotton dresses come out virtually wrinkle-free. https://www.eaglecreek.com/products/pack-it-reveal-garment-folder-xl?variant=39788347687049 I bought mine at The Container Store a few years back. In your cabin put a dryer sheet in the spray bottle and just add water. A very effective and inexpensive wrinkle release. No need to carry the heavy liquid bottles in your suitcase. Never thought of that!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'll try that for home too 🙂
