bunnyman Posted February 24, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2023 Has anyone done the Edinburgh and it's Castle excursion on Carnival? It's listed as 9 hours and trying to see if it's worth it or not? Does anyone know if it includes entry tickets for anything, or is it basically a bus ride from cruise terminal? Thejuggler Posted February 25, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2023 I'd be surprised if an excursion which mentions the castle doesn't include entry. Do Carnival have excursion details on their website? However if there is an option for an 'on your own tour', which is probably no more than a bus to the centre, check out the price of castle entry tickets as it may be cheaper to DIY anyway. Most buses drop off by the castle, but its easy enough to find. Big stone building on top of the lump of volcanic rock!
Britboys Posted February 25, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2023 Wow, 9 hours? Which port is that excursion from?

Glasgow is on the West and Edinburgh on the East Coast. Roughly 90 minute coach journey each way.
