We are doing July 10 day cruise in FP. Haven’t been able to find any reviews of land tours. We will be doing a lof snorkeling and thought it might be interesting to see some of the islands. Are they good tours or too touristy? I can accept the vanilla farm, fruit tasting etc if it’s part of an Interesting tour.

Thanks.

We did a nice tour with "Lady in Blue" on Moorea.  She will ask you what you want to see and arrange stops for you according to your wishes. We did stop at a couple of pearl shops and they were very low key, not pushy whatsoever, if you just want to look and see what they have.

Last time we went years ago we did a land tour in Huahine and loved it.  See the sacred places, the eels, etc.  Learned a lot about FP culture.  We booked a private tour but not sure who it was.  We loved Huahine, old South Pacific, undeveloped.  We leave in 2 weeks and still considering a land tour here because last time was so great.
