Using VeriFLY at Check-in?

Is anyone using/required to use this app for check in? Have an upcoming cruise in October. The reviews for the app do not seem to be user friendly. Just seems simpler to just show all your  paperwork as I have done in the past.

Not needed anymore since you don’t have to show proof of vax, health assessment, etc.

I would carry hard copies of your documents to show at check in if they're required for your cruise (the vast majority of cruises on Carnival no longer require proof of vax, testing, etc). The VeriFLY app is horrible, and even if you could get it to work correctly, the agents at the check in desk for Carnival always asked for the hard copies anyway. It was pointless and unless you absolutely HAVE to use it for some reason, I wouldn't bother with it.
