Bicycling adventures while in NZ ports

Are there any of the following ports that have nice bicycle excursions for leisurely bicycling?  Appreciate any guidance for upcoming cruise.  Tauranga, Napier, Wellington, Lyttleton, Dunedin.  Thank you in advance.

There's some amazing "great rides" in NZ. However, most are not near the ports. You can probably hire bikes near the ports.. but you'd be riding on the roads which isn't ideal. Wellington would be nice riding along the foreshore.. but I wouldn't ride into the city. There's hires there - https://switchedonbikes.co.nz/
