Glacier Gardens end of May?

Hello:

 

We have our cruise at the end of May and wanted family we are traveling with (which include an elderly person, someone with limited mobility, and a child, among others) to get a taste of Juneau. My husband and I are the only ones who have done this same cruise before.

 

We booked with Princess's tour which is a combo of Glacier Gardens and Mendenhall Glacier (90 min there). But I was just reading that Glacier Gardens might not be in full bloom at that time of the season. 

 

Anyone been to Glacier Gardens that time of year...is it worth it? Any other recommendations?

We did Glacier Gardens in the May time frame many years ago.  Unfortunately, for us, the tour was a bust as there were a lot of plants on the side of the paths that were not planted as was obvious by all the trays of plants lying along the paths.  You might want to give the vendor a call and see if they will be ready during your visit.
