mrwhiteside Posted March 17, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2023 Going on Anthem out of Southampton to Norway in mid-May. I’m 24 and my friend is 23 and we were wondering how the nightlife would be on the ship, and if there would be others our age. I’m assuming the average crowd for this cruise will be older, but has anyone had experience at the Music Hall or Two70 late at night on this ship? Is it ever crowded or mostly dead by say midnight? elaine5 Posted March 17, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2023 (edited) We went in late Aug. We saw variety of ages--but it was last week of UK summer holiday. Our ship was fairly "hopping." I'd expect older for mid-May, so probably not as lively past 11pm. Two70 was very full at midnight when Beatles mimic band was playing-the only night I was there around midnight. The Music Hall place and small pub around the corner usually had activity until at least 10:30pm+. Didn't check out other venues. It's a big ship with lots of fun places--you'll find somewhere that others also hang out past midnight. For ex, my 20-somethings had no issues finding places until 1am on a Disney cruise. Tin can Posted March 18, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2023 We were on Anthem towards the end of May last year to the Fjords and yes it was a slightly older crowd but very mixed ages and it was also one of the liveliest at night I have been on. The Fjords and the places you visit are stunning, you will have a fantastic time.
