PJ's Posted March 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2023 We are due to fly to Palma on 18th April and have just received our e-ticket with quite a lot of information but can find nothing about what happens about muster guidelines. We have not sailed with Marella since covid so not sure what the procedure is now? On P&O you have to watch a video on the TV and register at the muster station. Can someone inform me the procedure on Marella please? Many thanks.
Dinglebert Posted March 21, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2023 In October we had to go to a venue and watch a film. It rolled so you left when it got to the bit you came in. You then went to your muster station and go registered. Re-reading your post it looks the same as P+O then. We are on them in a fortnight so will know then! PJ's Posted March 21, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted March 21, 2023 Many thanks for your quick reply. Looks very similar to what we had on P&O last November except we could watch the video in our cabin but had to register at muster station as soon as we were on board. paularmstrong Posted March 21, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2023 Having just returned from discovery the fire drill is as follows , when you board you must make your way to the theatre where there will be a video showing for you to observe on a loop , after you have watched this make your way to your muster station with your card and crew will confirm that you have watched video ,ticked your name and cabin number and activate your card . You cannot use your card until this has been done
PJ's Posted March 23, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted March 23, 2023 I thought that your cards were waiting for you in the cabin? Do you therefore have to retrieve them from your cabin before going to the muster station?
Rare Jim The Scot Posted March 23, 2023 #6 Share Posted March 23, 2023 On our last cruise we were informed our cards would in our cabin, they weren,t.We had to head to the bar/lounge/Live Room to watch the video/film which was on a loop, then we were shown where our muster station on deck, then head to a desk to collect cabin card. After all that was very thirsty so had a drink before heading to cabin 😆
