Obstructed View Question?

Have a chance to get a suite on the Spirit upper deck 5 but it says it has an obstructed view. I can see the life boats are below this room, but would that effect the view that much? Or should I just stick with what I have on Panarama deck with extended balcony? Thanks for any advice or input:)

The structure that holds the life boats comes up about ten to twelve inches on the bottom of the balcony, at least the one I saw and the lifeboats prevent you from looking down. Most people look out into the ocean or up at the sky anyway, so I don't think it would be a problem for you.

Take the suite...we had 5245 on the Spirit to Hawaii...and the obstructed view is nothing...like the previous poster mentioned...it is minimal. We loved the Upper Deck location...we were right by the stairs and elevator and never heard a peep from the busy area! You will love the Spirit!

What suite on deck 5 are you talking about. I only see the 4 on the aft and these are not obstructed.

Suites are located on Empress deck and the Veranda deck.

5245 is a handicapped cabin and is a 7A not a suite.

if you are asking aout the 7As these are not suite but regular cabins.

5243 is a 9A cabin...We had a peek inside this when we were next door in our 5245 cabin .....nice cabin...I would go with it...much larger than a regular stateroom...the obstruction is nothing to worry about.
