gottagoacruzn Posted April 7, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2023 Hi guys, is it just me or is Pier 2 in Ketchikan the hot spot for ships to dock at? Will be on the crown princess in Sept, an do the ships follow the cruiseline agencies of alaska, where the ships get to dock? Pier 2 seems to be in the middle of the things. If this don't get answered, can understand. Thanks.
auntmeg Posted April 7, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2023 (edited) Yes, they dock where the port tells them to dock. And dock 2 is in the center. Holland America has most of the docking privileges at that dock. You can get the schedules for various ports in Alaska on CLAA. https://claalaska.com/?page_id=1250 Edited April 7, 2023 by auntmeg

Those are the ship positions at the docks in Skagway. There are three docks: Broadway - BRD Ore - Two smaller ships - ORF (forward) Railroad - Two larger ships - RRF (forward) RRA (aft)
