We spent 4 days in Vancouver last year after our Southbound cruise and we ate at this restaurant, loved the food and it was wheelchair accessible.

IMO... Vancouver is the most accessible city compared to other places due to the work of Rick Hansen.  You can see sidewalk ramps everywhere. The Canada Line is a great option to get around from airport to downtown.

 

Perhaps the city's only weakness are...

 

  • wheelchair taxi's where service are inconsistent. Especially in the suburbs.
  • public washrooms when the malls are closed... it's an issue for able body too.
  • older buildings where elevators may be out of service
