Disembarking from the ship at the final port of call, i.e. a day before back in home port. Possible?

Due to work obligations, it would be easier for us to walk off the ship in Mykonos and fly to Athens and then home from there, rather than waiting until the ship pulls into Athens the next day.  Assuming we make our own arrangements and notify and check out with the ship properly, would the ship care if we left a day early?  If it makes a difference, we are staying in a Mega Rock Star cabin.

 

Anyone have any experience departing a ship early (on purpose 🤣)?

People did it last fall....it seemed VV was easier to deal with in this regard than some other lines.
