St Anthony, NS - Santana (Daredevil) Trail - walkable from cruise port?

Does anyone know if the St Anthony, NS - Santana (Daredevil) Trail is walkable from the cruise port?  That is, can we get there by walking or public? How far is the base form the cruise port? The ship has an excursion, but we would prefer to explore on our own. Any input greatly appreciated. TIA.
