Bed bug report on Dateline

Since there have been a couple threads on bed bugs, I thought you might like to know that Dateline Sunday will have a report on the little "buggers". Just saw an ad on TV for it. :eek:

Thanks for the update. Have you had personal experience w/problems with bed bugs on a ship?

I never have had any serious problems on a cruise ship, except the final bill, and definitely no signs of bugs. lol

However, there have been reports of a couple incidences on cruise ships.

I wonder why the tabloid shows are so focused on cruising. It seems as though the same issue exists in land-based holidays but the cruise industry is the new punching bag for these shows. On the one hand, I feel really bad for the companies but on the other, if this keeps them vigilent with the cleaning and it keeps prices down, I'm fine.
