Viking Ocean - Iguazu Falls - Excursion Price

Can anyone give the price of the Viking excursion to Iguazu Falls?   they have a 1 day excursion on the Southern Atlantic Crossing from Buenos Aires.  As well as the Chilean Fjords cruise.  Even if taken on a previous Viking cruise, it would give us a cost idea.

It seems to me it was quite expensive.

Would you consider doing it on your own?  On our Viking Jupiter South America cruise (we finished in Buenos Aires), we put our own post-extension together and it was quite easy to do and execute - and I think about 1/2 the cost of a Viking extension.   

Aerolinas Argentinas flies nice 737 jets to the Iguazu airport.  We splurged even and stayed in the park at the Gran Melia hotel for 2 nights.  Did a lot of hiking around on our own.

 

Even if you aren't considering that, do a search on "Iguazu" on the general Viking site and you will find dozens of threads and response with all kinds of information for you!

We are doing Iguazu Falls on our own as well in February, so much cheaper and we are staying 3 days! We are staying in a upscale high-rise condo in the city for $110.00 a night. Flights are $275.00 for two from Buenos Aires.

I seem to recall it was in the 3500/4000.00 range per person,and that was quoted in Cdn $.  We are trying to plan our own visit. We are sailing on the SA,Chilean Fjords ,Feb 29/24, fr Santiago to BA.
