Packaged Food - NCL Spirit Alaska

This may be a slightly odd question, but I have never cruised before and want to be prepared.  My son and I are planning on doing some hiking in a few of the ports rather than go out on an excursion.  Are there packaged foods like granola bars or something we can throw in our packs for the day before we leave the boat or do I need to plan on packing these or buying some in the port?  Another probably odd question, but are there places on board we can fill up our water bottles w/ ice/water before we get off the boat?  TIA!

you need to pack and bring your own snacks or buy in port. ship does not provide

 

you can go to the buffet onboard the ship to refill the water bottle, use a clean glass for the refill
