Newbie: how do determine which terminal?

Recommended Posts

Hi, we'll be sailing out of Civitavecchia in a few weeks and I was wondering when/where I would get information on the specific terminal we'd need to arrive to? It seems most of the large cruise ports have several terminals scattered across perhaps several km, and it would definitely affect whether we'd walk/bus/taxi around.

I'm assuming it's info that will arrive in an email or the app when we get closer to our departure, but I just wanted to make sure I knew where to look, as I can't find any info about the various ports or even the actual times we're in port at the moment (does the My Calendar eventually show this info?). Thanks for any help.

Typically Civitavecchia requires passengers to board a bus at a central location (within the port) and will drive you to your ship.  The bus will have a sign with the ship's name.  If you are taking a cab, it is likely the port employees manning the gates will direct the driver to the appropriate pier.  This was our experience anyway - others may have more/better info.

This is spot-on...great information.

* I would not recommend walking.

Sounds good, I really appreciate the information. It looks like there's a shuttle that takes you from Molo del Bicchiere across from the fort to the terminals, but I wasn't sure where to get off. Looks like the shuttle also takes you to Largo della Pace, where I suppose we could also take the ship-specific busses that were mentioned.
