trustthedj Posted March 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2006 Can you fill out information online for the sign and sail card through Carnival? I have completed the funpass, but can't find anything on the sign & sail. Thanks.
habby Posted March 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2006 I don't think you can fill out the S&S card information on line as there is a spot on that page that requires a signature.
Ms_Pammy Posted March 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2006 No I dont think you can, that would be nice though and it sure would speed up the lines at port.:)
barbevrn Posted March 13, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2006 They have the Sail and Sign card waiting for you. You have to make arrangements on how to cover charges before they give it to you. It only takes a few minutes..........once you get to the desk. If you give them a Credit Card number.........you are set as long as you have enough credit limit left. If you use cash.........I believe you have to put a minimum amount of cash down........$200 or so. They use to slide a paper under your door if you needed to add more cash. The last couple of cruises........we kept up with our balance on the TV and didn't get a paper copy til the last day.....we always use a credit card though. barbevrn Posted March 13, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2006 oh yea......S&S card also douples as your room key. I'm sure they have to reprogram the doors after each cruise.

cubdaddy Posted March 14, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 14, 2006 There is a card in your docs for credit card information that you will use to apply your Sail & Sign charges to. This you can fill out before you get to the port or while waiting in line. On the new ships the Sail & Sign is your room key too. On the older ships they are seperate! To answer your question, you cannot do that part on-line, yet!

daddydude Posted March 18, 2006 #9 Share Posted March 18, 2006 How does S&S work for kids? I'd hesitate to give certain of my children a card that they could use to spend up to $200. But I wouldn't mind putting a credit limit of, say, $25 on a kid's card with $375 on mine. And, just out of curiosity, what happens if you don't have cash with you and your credit/debit card doesn't have $200/person balance available? It must have happened to someone before. Thanks. mcbor Posted March 18, 2006 #10 Share Posted March 18, 2006 When you get the card you can specify whether the card has "charging" capabilities or not.
island-hoppers Posted March 18, 2006 #11 Share Posted March 18, 2006 Does anyone know if the S & S card is also the room key on the Fascination? The reason I'm asking is because we have booked rooms with each others' spouses in order to get everyone past guest discounts. I'm trying to figure out how much trouble it is going to be to get everyone in the right room with the right S & S card.
DqALEX Posted March 18, 2006 #12 Share Posted March 18, 2006 I never let my kids charge on there ss card. They just use it as a room key and a boarding pass. Another thing I do is I go to the casino with there cards and get a hole punched in them and I get them the cord they give out to the slot players to wear there cards or put in there pockets and clip to a belt loop so they dont lose there boarding pass. Its a good Idea for the kids

springfire Posted March 18, 2006 #14 Share Posted March 18, 2006 So do I have this right, I have a 15 year old boy who has $100 of his own money that he wanted to put on his sail card so he could buy things during the cruise, can he or can he not do this. I am not putting my credit card and my limit down for him. I would if they would put a limit on what I can make him responsible for.
Urban Chic Posted March 19, 2006 #15 Share Posted March 19, 2006 I believe if you complete the funpass online it will pre-populate this info on to your S&S application. At least that's how it worked last year. Chic
