Bid for Forward Facing or Stay Put on Enchanted?

We’ve been assigned a mini-suite near the aft starboard of Enchanted - on deck 8 (Emerald). Given that it’s above the Vista Lounge and near the smoking area, we are considering bidding for an upgrade to a forward-facing reserve class mini-suite.

Would moving toward a forward-facing mini suite actually be an upgrade? The balcony is huge (which we like) but the cabin size is potentially a lot smaller (per the minimum size guidelines on the bidding tool). Is there anything we should keep in mind?

We just put in a bid to upgrade to the far forward mini suites in Reserve Class.  We’re currently in a forward standard mini suite.  Online booking shows all mini suites and suites sold out on our sailing in September, so doubtful if we’ll be successful.  We love being forward and prefer Lido deck.  Motion is never an issue for us, but can be problematic for some.  It’s also quite windy when at sea, but the large balcony is certainly a bonus. The location you have is, for some people, ideal.  It just depends on your personal likes and tolerance to motion.
