Everyone in Cabin Required to Purchase Drink Package?

Is Everyone in Cabin Required to Purchase Drink Package?  After I booked I checked the drink packages and I could add Easy Plus for me and my wife, nothing required for the kids.  I checked today and it now is requiring me to add Minors Package for them

 

What has been people experiences with adding drink packages?

All must have adult or child package if in same cabin.
